For a relaxed stay, request a room away from the kitchen to avoid cooking odors and noise, which can disrupt your sleep.

My favourite property in Lewes. Deluxe hotel with good sized and well-equipped rooms and a separate bathroom. Attentive and incredibly attentive staff and attention to detail. A wide array of options, amazing food.
Beds were hard.

The location was exceptionally nice and beautiful, on the Downs, and the bed exceptionally comfortable. And it was also so close to the bar/restaurant as well as Glyndebourne.
I didn't find milk, so was a little disappointed.

Good sized bedroom, good shower, interesting period hotel
The public areas felt neglected, with scruffy bars and corridors crying out for deep cleaning and updates!!! Parking was a hassle, so good luck finding a space!!! Breakfast hours could use a serious rethink!!!

The room was beautifully refurbished with a charming old-world feel.
The wooden floors creaked significantly at night, affecting our sleep quality.

The stay was quite pleasant, especially due to the lovely location in a charming village. The staff were generally good, and the breakfast offered a fantastic variety, exceeding the usual options. I found that the room was quite small and lacked proper storage given the price we paid.

Great breakfast and lovely atmosphere.
We were disappointed with our Room Price experience. The cost of the Bo Peep room at £275 per night was outrageous for what we received. The room was cramped without space for our luggage, and the noise from above kept us awake all night. The bathroom was uncomfortably small and the shower barely provided hot water.

Charming spot with great vibes
We popped in for late lunch and it was all super chill. The old village setting is just fine, surrounded by nature. Had some delish soup and the flint owl bread was a nice touch. Only bummer was the parking was a bit tight at peak times, but the cosy atmosphere made up for it.

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly, but the food was quite disappointing. The mains took ages to arrive and were dry, while the cleanliness of both the dining area and room was lacking. It left a bit to be desired on our visit.

would like to go back here again
Quaint pub in Firle with a cozy vibe. Our Standard Double Room had a comfy bed, tv, and a private bathroom with nice toiletries. The cooked breakfast was generous, with a good selection of pastries and juices. The dining room atmosphere was lovely. Yummy dinner options with attentive service from a staff member named Poppy.

great stay but minor issues with room
The twin room was well-decorated with a unique charm that I found good. The food offered at the inn was a highlight, exquisite flavors and nicely presented.
I found that there were some cleanliness issues in the corners of the room.

I stayed in the Double Room with Private Bathroom. The room had a nice modern decor that felt fresh, a cool contrast to the old pub vibe downstairs. Breakfast timing was a bummer. It started at 9 am, and we had to leave early. It was a mixed bag.
