For a relaxed stay, request a room away from the kitchen to avoid cooking odors and noise, which can disrupt your sleep.

    period property
    public areas
    poor parking

Good sized bedroom, good shower, interesting period property

The public areas felt neglected, with scruffy bars and corridors crying out for deep cleaning and updates!!! Parking was a hassle, so good luck finding a space!!! Breakfast hours could use a serious rethink!!!

    beautifully refurbished
    creaky floors

The room was beautifully refurbished with a charming old-world feel.

The wooden floors creaked significantly at night, affecting our sleep quality.

    lovely location
    fantastic variety breakfast
    generally good staff
    small room
    lack of storage

The stay was quite pleasant, especially due to the lovely location in a charming village. The staff were generally good, and the breakfast offered a fantastic variety, exceeding the usual options. I found that the room was quite small and lacked proper storage given the price we paid.

    great breakfast
    overpriced room
    noise disturbance

    Great breakfast and lovely atmosphere.

We were extremely disappointed with our Room Price experience. The cost of the Bo Peep room at £275 per night was simply outrageous for what we received. The room was cramped without space for our luggage, and the noise from above kept us awake all night. the bathroom was uncomfortably small and the shower barely provided hot water.

    old village
    cosy atmosphere
    delicious soup
    tight parking

    Charming spot with great vibes

We popped in for late lunch and it was all super chill. The old village setting is just stunning, surrounded by nature. Had some delish soup and the flint owl bread was a nice touch. Only bummer was the parking was a bit tight at peak times, but the cosy atmosphere made up for it.

    friendly staff
    lovely atmosphere
    disappointing food
    poor cleanliness

The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were friendly, but the food was quite disappointing. The mains took ages to arrive and were dry, while the cleanliness of both the dining area and room was lacking. it left a bit to be desired on our visit.

    charming decor
    excellent food
    cleanliness issue

great stay but minor issues with room

The twin room was well-decorated with a unique charm that I found delightful. The food offered at the inn was a highlight, exquisite flavors and nicely presented.

I found that there were some cleanliness issues in the corners of the room.

    cozy vibe
    attentive service

would like to go back here again

Quaint pub in Firle with a cozy vibe. Our Standard Double Room had a comfy bed, flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with nice toiletries. The cooked breakfast was generous, with a good selection of pastries and juices. The dining room atmosphere was lovely. Yummy dinner options with attentive service from a staff member named Poppy.

    modern decor
    old pub vibe
    well equipped
    breakfast timing
    early departure

I stayed in the Double Room with Private Bathroom. The room had a nice modern decor that felt fresh, which was a cool contrast to the old pub vibe downstairs. breakfast timing was a bummer. it started at 9 am, and we had to leave early. it was a mixed bag.

    Comfy bed, but service dipped

The bed was super comfy, and those sheets were lovely! The dining was okay, but the menu was kinda limited, and the service dropped after the main course. we were bummed that the main dining room was closed when we got there. Love the bar area, though!
